One warning.... there's a few international phones in my research. While it works in Canada, it may not offer 4g or LTE. Those are 2g or 3g phones.

Most phones that telus sells has 850/900/1900/2100 WCDMA. Asia is very tricky with their networks and use ones that are different than the rest of the world so you may or may not get service.

Telus operates on 850/1900 HSPA frequencies.  This is not GSM retro compatible and so you have to ensure the phone from Asia is HSPA compatible.

LTE frequency for Telus should be 700 band.

So best to research and check the IMEI to see for certain.

Telus' LTE network is 700 not 1700

@ Artemis stop telling people on here to verify the IMEI of the device and check with Telus ... Asian phones do not register on Telus with their IME plus telus don't want u to buy other phones to use on their network ...

I doubt that Telus is using 700 MHz as that auction has not yet occurred!

Telus uses the AWS band (1700/2100) that it acquired in 2008 for LTE.  If it is successful in the auction next year I can see it using 700 as well.  More info here:  Telus press release

The best thing to do is verify the IMEI of the device. Once you have the IMEI you can then check it here; http://mobility.telus.com/en/ON/phones-and-devices/devicecompatibility.shtml

Based on the specs for the iNew, it has a common issue a number of Asian phones have. It only supports one of the two frequencies you'd want for 3G. 850MHz. It likely won't even work on Telus' network. You want a phone that has 850/1900 MHz at the least to get 3G here. 2100MHz is reserved for LTE on Telus.

The iNew V3 is also running Android 4.2. You'd be better off finding a phone that's using an operating system that isn't 2 years old and likely never to see any updates. (Cheap phones, usually zero updates or security patches)
