I recently recieve a call from 888-519-0122 and he he use a email address <Admin edit: removed email address>. He claim he is from Telus retention. He offer me $35 60G Canada/US and ask me to screen shot iPhone setting->general->about to activate an esim. Is he legit?SolvedChang21 minutes agoNeighbour1.2KViews0likes6CommentsMobility offer - scam or great deal?
Received a call from 888-519-0122 - said they were calling from Telus. Being polite, and having time, I was curious about the offer - asked about some kind of streaming / mobile plan bundle. Eventually landed on talking about $35 / month / line deal for mobile - unlimited talk / text CAN + US, 5G LTE, etc. I asked to be emailed the details - he said he couldn't do that (something about competitors getting the info?). Seemed a bit off. So I asked for a call back b/c I was busy. When he called back, I asked for additional verification that he was from Telus. He read account details (billing details, etc.). These were accurate. He then sent an automated "how to sign up for an e-sim" email that was also legit. When I call back the number, it goes to a Telus automated menu. However, when googling the number, I came across these two conflicting posts with Telus: Post 1: It IS a legitimate number (https://forum.telus.com/discussions/mobile_devices/is-this-a-scam/171441) Post 2: It is NOT a legitimate number (https://forum.telus.com/discussions/mobile_devices/verify-telus-number/174523) Anyway - I read somewhere that you can ask the rep to post a comment on your Telus account that you can then login to see. He said he didn't know how. So I said that if he can figure that out, I'm interested. If not, sorry. So - am I too paranoid or appropriately cautious?8Views0likes0CommentsMobility Phone Issues
Anyone who can suggest how to work with telus. I have been having issues since Sep 7 running my mobile phone for a business and the service is really poor. They said they opened a ticket and it could take two weeks. I waited the two weeks and they still haven’t solved the issue. They say they called but no left message or email. If my phone is not accepting calls or call outs how can I get this resolved. I have resorted to using my computer for calls but this isn’t the solution for a business. I don’t think their overseas call centres are equipped to handle business issues. any help or suggestions would be great.342Views0likes16CommentsCan't activate Netflix subscription

Hey everyone, I’ve been facing a strange issue with my fibre internet connection where it drops every few hours for a few minutes and then reconnects automatically. It’s not a complete outage, but enough to disrupt video calls, streaming, and work. I’ve already tried: Restarting the router and ONT Checking all cable connections Updating router firmware Still seeing the same issue. I’m trying to figure out whether this is: A line/signal issue from the provider Router compatibility problem DHCP or IP lease-related issue Has anyone experienced something similar? If yes, what ended up fixing it? From what I’ve seen, stability is just as important as speed when it comes to fibre connections. A lot of users now look for the best internet provider that can maintain consistent uptime without frequent drops. Would really appreciate any suggestions or insights!Solvedarifsharif2 days agoNeighbour26Views0likes3CommentsNSF Fee Waiver?
I just got my bill for my mobile phone plan and it has a NSF fee which is confusing to me because it just came out and I just recently activated my Telus phone plan maybe 1 month ago. So I don't get why it has a NSF fee when no money has tried to be taken out from my bank account.21Views0likes1CommentCharged against unused service
I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I've been charged for mobility services that I never used — the line was inactive/unused, yet the charges still appeared on my bill. I've already tried contacting TELUS support but haven't had a resolution yet. Has anyone else dealt with this situation? How did you get it sorted out? Any help is truly appreciated. I just want this corrected fairly. 🙏10Views0likes1CommentOvercharging
I just upgraded our 2 phones with a 2 year plan and my bill tripled. Our last contract was $174/month and my last bill was $469. How is that even possible? Almost 3 times as much? I can understand a few dollars as we got brand new phones, but honestly how can Telus be allowed to take advantage of customers like this? We have been loyal customers for years and this feels violating. Anyone else feeling gauged?rachelmillard2 days agoNeighbour21Views0likes1Comment- cafekief2 days agoAmbassador18Views0likes1Comment
