Nakina is a rather remote tiny community. Telus doesn't have any towers outside of the GTA so you'd be relying on either Bell's or Rogers' infrastructure there through the tower sharing agreements.
In the small town of Nakina, the only towers are Rogers' and appear to possibly be 3G only (850MHz). The closest Bell towers are south along Highway 11. Even then there's a large gap further east with no towers at all.

What phone do you have?
Have you tried disabling LTE/4G?
Have you gone in and tried manually selecting Rogers to see if it'll connect?
