Likely a Scam and fell for it.
I have ordered a new phone & plan online. The order has not been processed & I want to cancel it. Can I do this online or do I have to speak to someone at Telus? there was a telus rep that called. had all the info and made me a smoking deal for a new phone. but once we got to the Telus will call to confirm he told me to lie and say I did it myself. Once he said that I new it was a scam. I didn't give him any details but did log into telus and he knew where to send me. He said his name was Sam . he called me from 2 different numbers and there was alot of back ground noise that sounded like a call centre. I want to play Bee Keeper with these people. can I have someone reach out and help me cancel the order that is attached to my account.paulpipes201048 minutes agoJust Moved In6Views0likes1CommentPossible scam?
Hello, I recieved a call from 1-844-368-7379 regarding a special offer since I just signed up on home services my account being installed on April 1, 2026. The offer they offered was my home internet would go down to $50/mo with $150 bill credit from $68/mo if I switch my 2 phones lines from Rogers. The offer for mobile was $35/mo each for 2 lines so $70/mo with 100gb date each line. Just wondering how can we verify this was a legit caller and offer?9Views0likes1CommentWebstore - Issues trying to contact
Is anyone else having an issue with the Webstore? I placed an order and yesterday they emailed saying they tried to call me to verify the order and it is on hold currently. The number they called is my ipad sim - so I did not receive the call. I called back immediately and got to the part where the system said it was transferring my call and then suddenly it just cuts off. I have made 18 calls since last night and this morning and all with the same result. I emailed the address they provided twice. I contacted support through the chat and tried to schedule a call back which put me in an endless loop of "no callback is available at this time" along with their not being a scheduled call back time available. So I receive a message to contact - but I have no way to reach a live person and there are no options to confirm any information for them through the website or app.11Views0likes2CommentsShareable vs Non-Shareable Data plans
Looking at the different prices points and some are Non-shareable and some are shareable for the Data. I am not planning to share data with other people (cell phones) on an account, just want to add an iPad Cellular type device to a plan both devices for me. Can this be done with a Non-Shareable plan?JohnSz2 days agoNeighbour23Views0likes1CommentBilling Errors And Wait Times

I am writing because I am a new customer of Telus (activated and opened account in January). On March 4 I was having issues with my bank I resolved with them. On March 5 I realized my automatic payment had not gone through because of that and I paid it immediately on that date March 5 (still early). I now see a $50 NSF fee on my bill for this month and I am hoping I could have it waived as a new customer as I still paid the bill, it is the first one I've had and I was unaware that this was a policy as I wasn't told when activating the account.sydneyscaife3 days agoNeighbour17Views0likes1CommentUnable to change my Mobility to Prepaid from outside Canada
I had to leave the country in late 2025, and I ended up needing to keep my Canadian Phone Number active for personal reasons. I have been trying to contact Telus about having my mobility changed to prepaid so I don’t have to pay such exorbitant prices each month, but they haven’t been responding. The few times I manage to get a customer service person on call, they just keep shifting me across departments for hours on end. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?56Views0likes6CommentsPort-In Issue
I had an extremely disappointing and misleading experience with Telus that felt very close to a scam. I was contacted by a Telus representative named Zaid Haider Nazar who offered to transfer my existing mobile account from Bell with the promise of significantly lower monthly costs. I was told my new monthly bill would be approximately $35 per month compared to the $66 I was paying with Bell. I was also assured that my existing phone number would be transferred seamlessly using an eSIM process. Based on these promises, I agreed to proceed. During the process I provided personal identification including my driver’s license and authorized the transfer of my number from Bell. However, after multiple phone calls and emails attempting to clarify the situation, I discovered that none of the promises were honored. Instead of the $35 monthly plan that was advertised, I was placed on a plan costing approximately $80 per month. On top of that, my original phone number was not transferred as promised and I was assigned an entirely new number. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has wasted a significant amount of my time trying to correct the situation. The fact that my personal information was collected during this process makes the situation even more concerning. This kind of conduct feels predatory and misleading. Promising one price and service to lure customers away from a competitor and then delivering something completely different should not be acceptable business practice. In my opinion this raises serious questions about fair competition and consumer protection. I feel completely misled by the information provided and by the lack of transparency throughout the process. Customers should be very cautious when approached with these types of offers because what was promised and what was actually delivered were completely different [mod edit - private info]alienkicksass5 days agoNeighbour27Views0likes1CommentBill Download Issue
