Welcome to the forum @soren: (1) I need a telus rep to contact me through email . Don't think 'cause, you posted a question here,Telus customerservice is award about it. Issues with mobile accts it has to be addressed, directly by customer.

(2) Is Koodo owned by Telus. There's no official confirmation, but according, with media sources, Koodo was started by Telus in 2008 to target mostly younger Users. The advantage it doesn't require a fixed term contract, offers Post+Prepaid-services. Rates starts from [$15 to $25] Koodo uses the "TAB" concept, which let Users built credit for new phones.

(3) Why stay with Telus is a personal choice. Do extra research to make an informed decision, before switch to another carrier. From my prospect -Telus offer reliable services. So you should stay & sign up for better plan. Stay tuned!  "v9"

Don't expect an email. You won't get any account or plan changes here. Try calling Telus and asking nicely. You'll be surprised what you can get if you are an existing customer. And Koodo is owned by Telus.

The main difference would be the phone's available and coverage outside of urban locations which would put you in Canadian Roaming.

In the old days, Koodo only had CDMA phones.

Pretty sure that there's no "Canadian roaming" with Koodo. That's only with Wind Mobile.

Koodo runs off of our towers as they're a subsidiary of Telus, so there's no chance of roaming within Canada unless you ping off of an AT&T tower if you're near the border.

Wind, Chatr and Mobilicity likely all have roaming. If they all still exist. Older cell plans from the big 3 will likely have some form of roaming also.

As far as I know, you just delete them by backspacing through them.  Smiley Wink

I'll let you know!

Yup!  Just backspace throughout the ":smiley whatever:" when you edit.

Thks-NftoBc: I'll try that, but youKnow what, screwed up too, with the [Insert spoiler] appears on the button of the post, where it should read [Add a tag..] mind to advise on that as well. ReadYouSoon-thks - v9

Just go to the end of the line previous to the spoiler tag & hit delete, or swipe from above the spoiler to below it (highlighting the tag) and hit delete.  You can enter text which will not show unless the user clicks on the tag itself.

Spoiler
See how choosing the tag revels the hidden text?

I apologize for get out, from the question. Hey! Nf2Bc. Followed  the advise, manage to remove emoticons. But the "Spoiler" can't be deleted it. When I'm in the [Edit-page] Shows 2screens isn't.

The [Rich-text-tab] let (delete +add text) 1)When I place the cursor on the 'end' of last line, before spoiler tag +hit delete-does nothing. 2)When I sweep from, above the spoiler tag, get highlighted +hit delete-no action. If got time tell in which, Edit-screen - I've to perform this fix. Replies welcome "v9"

...@Nighthawk- just read your mgse, confirmed now "Koodos' parent" is Telus - I might give it a shot as prepaid user, got an itching to experience, how iPhones works,. Hehee!

In reply to NftoBC last msge,.never mind-let's leave it up 'till here. As long as the Spoiler, doesn't show up in next posts, that's good enough. I'll try not to touch, those icons. Thks "v9"

To NftoBC - !! SUCCESS !!  Followed your advise, got rid of the "Unwanted emoticons" They're in the tool bar for those, who like to use it. But to remove the word "Spoiler" located at the bottoms' post, your fix didn't work.

Anyway- try again this morning [On the Edit-screen I clicked the Tab[HTML)] display the whole Text/post in a coded language.

I spotted the word <Insert a Spoiler> at the bottom I highlighted +hit Backspace & get deleted. Then I clicked the button [Post] to re-Send it and Bingo! Now the post - shows [Add a tag..] which is the normal status, unless a tag it's been added like..[NftoBc -- 16 year Telus Mobility customer] The word 'year' may need the(s) check out!  Bye  "v9"

@soren: Thks to find out my answers useful. Add more info, about your account, with Telus to further advice, which is the best choice. Write a new post+Send it.. "v9"

@v9- For your second point, there is definitely official confirmation that Koodo is owned by Telus. You just have to visit Koodo's website and look at the Service Terms. It's easy to find.

    • "We," "us" and "our" refer to the mobility division of Koodo (a registered business name of TELUS Communications Company);

Koodo was never started for younger users. It was started to get more money out of people.
