Now on the website Telus mentions the Home Phone 2 go app for Iphone or Android. It says it is available in select BC and Alberta communities but it does not say which ones. I would like to try this app out but would like to find out which communities this is available in

If you are in a Pure Fibre community and subscribed to Fibre, why not give it a try?

You may need to have your home phone on Fibre, rather than copper.

I have pure fibre and I downloaded the app - but when I tried to use it but got an error message stating that only select communities had this service and I would be notified by email when my area would have so I would have to say that is the only indication that where I live does NOT have it as yet in spite of having pure fibre
