"Not registered on network" trying to make a call

Good morning,

When trying to make a call, I am being thrown the error "Not registered on network". I also am seeing at the top of the screen "Emergency calls only". I have tried all the troubleshooting methods (rebooting, checking the SIM card, airplane mode, resetting network, no network outages) but still cannot get it to work. I cannot make phone calls to get support so I guess this is the method of communication. Can someone please help?

Hello I am going through the exact same issue as Brenda. No service and not registered to network when making calls. Ive tried all those same steps. And cannot call out at all. 

Please how can I fix this.

Gotcha. There was a congestion issue impacting customers in that area. Our team is continuing to monitor... are you still experiencing an interruption in service?

My phone has been down all morning. Is telus going to be crediting people for this. Because I use my phone for work and was unable to attend work today. Crazy day to be honest. Huge inconvenience!

Hi: I'm having the same problem....Metro Vancouver, BC. 

Is there an issue? Exact same thing.

Is this to do with any updates or the Gemini install that I had to do? I have no other option....no landline, please advise ASAP!

Sending this message again - yes, it appears to be more stable now but I'd like to know both how and why this happened and what TELUS will do for me to compensate for this outage as I didn't have this working for several hours without landline.
