Hello everyone! It's time to upgrade from my Samsung S2. I'm looking at the iPhone 5S or Samsung S4/S5 but can't decide. I know they are both good phones in their own ways but I'm interested in the the pros and cons of iPhones and Samsung users. What phone are you currently using?
Husband has the iPhone 5S but he won't stray...

Welcome to the Neighbourhood @adk301708 🙂
I currently use both an iPhone 5s and Samsung S5. i've owned an iPhone since the original iPhone came out in 2007 and I still haven't found anything that has made me want to make a permanent leap to Android.
The S5 has an AMAZING screen. I think Samsung has finally started to listen to their customers and removed a lot of the bloatware they had. Don't get me wrong, there is still a TON when compared to other Android devices, but it isn't as noticable as on the S4 when it came out. I'm not too fond of the overall design Samsung chose for the S5. The backplate is UGLY and the camera nipple thing does't help either. The performance of the S5 is great - it's fast, responsive and doesn't seem to slow down the same way other Android devices do.
Now, to where my heart is - the iPhone 5s. Build/design = Awesome. Apple has always nailed build quality and esthetics in my opinion. It's something they do incredibly well. It's no slouch when it comes to performance either. Despite being 8 months older than most new flagship Android devices, it can hold it's own. I've said it in other posts, but the appstore apps tend to look nicer on iOS, they also tend to get updated sooner than on Android. I'm also heavily invested in the entire Apple ecosystem (iPad, Macbook, etc), so it makes my life so much easier to sync across devices.
My two cents. 🙂

Which one did you go with?
One thing I have noticed is the bigger your media collection gets, the harder it is to switch.
After investing money in apps, movies, songs, etc that becomes a deterrent to switching platforms.
Did you have much paid content?
