Will the Allcall Rio 3G Smartphone work on the Telus network?

I am looking at maybe purchasing the Allcall Rio 3G Smartphone and moving my SIM over to it.  I checked out https://willmyphonework.net/ but none of the AllCall phones are on that list.  The specs are:

GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
WCDMA 900/2100MHz

Looking at the network information on the telus.com website it seems that the 3G frequencies of 850/1900 match with the GSM  and the 4G frequency of 2100 matches up with one of the WCDMA frequencies but I'm not confident in my reading of it.  Does anyone have any ideas whether this phone will work?

Band 4 being 1700/2100 means that one frequency is used to send while the other is used to receive.  Only having one of the two, means you would not have a working two way communication.

Phone will very likely not work. It's missing the 850MHz band.

GSM: Not supported

3G/HSPA/WCDMA: Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 2 (1900 MHz)

LTE: Band 4 (1700 MHz / 2100 MHz), Band 29 in specific areas only (700 MHz)

That is correct though the phone specs provided did not have LTE, which Band 4 is part of. WCDMA is only 3G which has the band split into 5 & 2 (850 & 1900MHz).

Thank you for the clarification.  So I need a phone that shows that if has the 4G LTE Band 4 (1200/2100)?  Like this:

3G: WCDMA B1 2100MHz,WCDMA B2 1900MHz,WCDMA B5 850MHz,WCDMA B8 900MHz
4G LTE: FDD B1 2100MHz,FDD B17 700MHz,FDD B2 1900MHz,FDD B20 800MHz,FDD B3 1800MHz,FDD B4 1700MHz,FDD B5 850MHz,FDD B7 2600MHz,FDD B8 900MHz

and this would work on the Telus network?

3G: Typically yes as long as both B2 + B5 are supported.

4G: B1: No. B4: Typically yes.

There is no absolute guarantee any non-carrier device will work but if it supports North American frequencies there is a good possibility. You may need to manually set a few things including APN (not that hard) to get everything working.
