Will an unlocked Xperia Z5 Compact from Taiwan work on Telus' network?

Hey everyone.  Just looking to order an unlocked Sony Xperia Z5 Compact from Taiwan...looks to support the frequencies used by Telus.  Anybody know if it'll work here?

It may work on 3G. LTE does not always work with phones imported from Asia.

Hey Nighthawk, thx for the quick reply.   I see from the specs that the LTE network frequencies from the Taiwan version of the Xperia Z5C has the same Freq listed as the Telus network.  Does this increase the chance of it working on the network?  Or is it something separate from the LTE frequencies?

There are 2 types of LTE, both share the same frequencies. Only one type is compatible with Telus. If Sony released that model as a more globally compatible model, then there's a possibility it will work. If it's a more China specific release, it's less likely.
