Greetings,
I have a BlackBerry Z10.
When I tap Settings > Network and Connections, it says that my IMS Status is Disconnected. What exactly is my "IMS Status"? Apparently it is controlled by the carrier.
Thanks,
Shane.

This is likely as clear an answer as any:

It allows seamless communication over different networks, but also ensures synchronization across platforms and apps. At work, we have an skype-like communication application that can be used on a computer and also has a corresponding app on our work devices. We can set an out of office alert and our calls via PC are routed to our handsets. That's what IMS does. it allows the handoff of data/info (usually in the form of a call/communication/video/etc.. to be sent/received over a variety of devices automatically.

Thanks.
I didn't see this until just now. I'm not receiving email notifications of replies, for some reason.
