Hi ... I notice on Telus website they have a section which mention > Bring your phone to Telus and activate your unlocked phone and get 10% off any monthly plan . I went to a Telus Store/heartland Town Centre, 5840 Mavis Rd , Mississauga , Phone: 905-826-3499 and the guy said it does NOT apply to the plan I wanted which was Telus Lite 55 . What I did I called 1-866-558-2273 got this number off the website and the lady I spoke with said she could give me this plan Lite 55 with the 10% off . Now who should I believe ? Also, if by chance I were to sign up with Telus on the Phone how does that work with all the paper information ? I'm not getting any contract plan , just monthly . And can this method of signing up on the phone be trustworthy ? Thanks

No offense but whats wrong by how I am doing so here ? Is this not a Telus website / support forum ? Also, I wouldn't never use twitter or facebook .

Hi JS .... Thanks for that nice intro . Well, I went back to the store and spoke with the same sale rep and told him about the 10% discount on all plans . Its nice to see some guys can admit when they are wrong , which he did and apologize for the error . I guess its best I start a new thread to my next question lol

I did bring it to a Telus store and was told other wise . Can someone inform the sales reps at that Mississauga store , It seem they don't know this

Hi 905dude. Welcome to the TELUS Neighbourhood. I'm JS a new member to the TELUS Neighbourhood. Nice to meet you. You are not doing anything wrong at all by becoming a contributor here. This site is meant for TELUS Clients to ask questions, express ideas and get answers regarding your mobility requirements or issues. You did the right thing by going to a TELUS store first and since you were not happy with the response you received from the store associates, calling Client Care to have your issue resolved was the best. I have been with TELUS Mobility since December 2001, have had to call Client Care for different things and they have been totally awesome in resolving my issues. This is why I will never change to another service provider. I don't trust Facebook or Twitter either.
