I have a Nokia Lumia 625 that is displaying 1 voice mail being present in the voice mail box. When I check the voice mail there are no messages. I've turned the device off and on, but the icon still displays 1 message. How do I get the icon reset back to no messages? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Pickles the best trick that I've found is to call yourself, leave a message, then once you receive the new voice mail notification, call you voice mail and delete that new message. Normally, it should reset the voice mail message indicator. If not, then it might be time for you to contact TELUS. You can either call them at 1-866-558-2273, send them a private message on their Facebook page or even send them a Tweet at @TELUSsupport.

This might be a network issue if it keeps happening, you might try calling into tech support and allow them to look at things on their end.
It seems I recall an old LG windows Phone 7 doing this once in a while when I had it. I think I cleared it once or twice by calling my phone from another line, and leaving a message with a few seconds of length. Then, I'd check my messages and pick the option to delete the message and it would clear the phantom eventually.
