I have gone to Hub clicked on the 3 dots selected email and then my account.
I have edited the signature and then backed out to save but it still puts the signature as
Sent from my BB10 on the Telus Network.
Does my phone need to be unlocked to make this change ?

What if you try changing your signature to something else instead of leaving it empty and try again to see if the change was effective.
