I'm currently looking into purchasing a new phone and have been interested in the Huawei P9 and Mate 8. If anyone could provide information on whether they are compatible with TELUS networks, that would be greatly appreciated!
Here are the model details for the products:
P9: Huawei P9 Dual EVA-L19
Mate 8: Huawei Mate 8 NXT-L29
Both of which are factory unlocked, according to the seller.

Have a look here, and make sure the frequencies and bands match. Usually if the phone is compatible with AT&T in the USA, it will be compatible with the Telus network.

For clarification, and because I'm not familiar with bands, frequencies, and networks, TELUS is a GSM network, yes?

GSM is Rogers/Fido also and is slower than dialup since it's very old. 3G is far better.
As long as the phones support 3G 850/1900 and LTE band 4 (1700/2100) they should work, assuming the seller is selling you the world phone models. The specs on Huawei's website show the phones should work but there is never a 100% guarantee. Also the dual SIM models, ensure the SIM you insert is in the slot that supports 3G/LTE as some dual SIM phones only have GSM on the second slot.
