GSM will not work with Telus.

3G/HSPA as long as it's 850MHz and 1900MHz should work.

LTE band 4 might depending on the phone as long as it's 2100MHz.

Which phone are you looking at?

If it's a regular Crackberry, it should be fine.

Hi,

Would an IPhone 6 GSM unlocked from the states work with Telus in Canada?

An iPhone 6 is not a basic GSM phone. As long as it is capable of 3G/LTE in the USA or Canada, and the phone is unlocked, it should work.

Hey, will a GSM 900/1800MHz  phone work? Im looking to buy a cheap, lightweight phone and most of them run on this. If not, what about  GSM850/900/1800/1900MHz?

No GSM device will work on the Telus network. Only Rogers. GSM also has horrible speed and reception as it's decades old. You'll need something that will be compatible with the Canadian 3G or 4G/LTE standards.

What Nighthawk actually means is, service on GSM bands is not offered over Telus.  Most GSM devices will work on Telus as long as they have the appropriate 3G, HSPA, 4G, and or LTE bands where you will be using the service.
