I don't know. The name is awful. The shape is awful. The front camera looks like a pull tab. The aesthetic is all wrong, makes the phone look like a cheap knock-off. But who knows--it might sell.

Was reported today on MobileSyrup that Telus will sell the phone unlocked for $1050. What is worth noting however is that in the USA the phone is being sold on the manufacture website for $699 USD. Using today's exchange rate, that translates to approx. $890 CDN, but they will not ship to Canadian addresses. So Essentially (pardon the pun), this phone has a high markup of an extra $160 for us Canadians compared to those in the USA. I guess we are used to getting hosed in this country for a long time so why not right?
It just puts me off from wanting to buy this phone altogether now.

Could be they are doing the same as Google did with the first Nexus phones; the price in the Google store was the same as they wholesaled it to carriers. Carriers (at least in Canada) had an uncharge of about $150 on their sales sites.
