Without making any changes to my phone I suddenly was unable to sync and download any of my AOL emails to my LG phone running Windows 7. It returned an error code 800C0000. I tried deleting the account and setting it up again, but the problem remains. I also tried to set up my Bell.net account, but it keeps asking me for my password and will not sync as well. However I have a Google address which does seem to be working but I do not use this on a regular basis. This has been going on for the past 2 days.

AOL? Bell? You may want to contact them. If Gmail is working, it won't be a Telus issue.
As for the error, this was a common error about 2-4 years ago. Most of the search results from Google are at least that old if not older.

Hi, I have got exactly the same problem here in Franc. Aol mail hasn't updated on my windows phone for 4 days, same error message . Aol is working fine on my computer and Gmail is still working on the phone. Very frustrating. Have you found a solution yet?

Hi. I contacted AOL and essentially, they were not able to help in any way. They do not support mobile devices and my email is a free account which is also not supported. It is possibly related to the configuration of the phone itself. It is now 4 years old and works beautifully and there have been no recent updates. Out of curiousity, what type of phone is giving you the same problem?

Hi Mike,
Interesting that Aol have no solutions. My phone is an HTC and otherwise seems ok apart from the odd eccentricity.
