Telsus TV+ channel guide keeps switching to "all channels"
I'm experiencing an issue with my Telus TV+ channel guide. The filter and sort settings keep reverting to “All channels,” even though I had selected “My favourite channels.” While the TV is on, the guide correctly shows “My favourite channels” after I select it. However, after turning the TV off and then back on later, the guide has reset to show “All channels.” I’ve restarted both of my digital boxes, but that didn’t resolve the issue. Hi everyone, I’m experiencing intermittent jitter and minor packet loss on the Vancouver - Seattle route, affecting latency-sensitive apps. Tests confirm the issue is not from my home network. Tests: Internal network clean, Hop 1–2: 1 ms, 0% packet loss Tracert, WinMTR, PingPlotter to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 Jitter starts on backbone routers 154.11.15.xx Examples: Tracert to 1.1.1.1: Latency is stable until reaching QUBCPQAJGR00.bb.telus.com 154.11.15.73 Seattle-bound backbone router, where latency begins to fluctuate. Tracert to 8.8.8.8: Similar path, showing transition through 154.11.15.190, confirming the same segment is used. Everything before that point is stable with 0% packet loss. Request for Review: Please review the Vancouver - Seattle backbone segment, where the jitter begins. Minor fluctuations 5–15 ms have a noticeable impact on latency-sensitive applications. The goal is to identify and address potential congestion or instability, and any adjustments or actions deemed necessary by the network team are appreciated. Hi there, I have a Telus router and I'd like to block a IOT device to prevent it from accessing the Internet. I’ve tried several options on my computer, and the only one that blocks web browsing and console commands like “ping” is the “Access Scheduling” feature, but that requires leaving access open for at least 15 minutes. Is there a better way to block everything? What if i schedule Monday: 12:00 to 12:15 and another one Monday: 12:30 to 12:45 does each schedule prevent other to allow internet covering the 24h? so my tv internet and phone went down earlier tonight.. i called telus and they said there's no outage.. she asked me what is the issue.. i said well the NaH is red light offline.. then she went and said oh there's an issue with the fiber line and i'll have to send a tech out.. the tech call is 2 days from now.. that's fine.. but 5 hrs later.. my internet started magically working again.. so is there something wrong with my fiber line or not?? if i don't cancel the tech call.. is telus going to charge me $200 if they don't find an issue with the fiber line even though the tech support said there's something wrong with my fiber line??Wai_lai4164 hours agoOrganizer60Views0likes7CommentsCustomer Service Inquiry
My payment from last month was not put through even though my credit card is valid through 2028!! I am never in the habit of paying late and, of course, it is auto charge, anyway, and the onus is on Telus to take out the payment. Now, if I was in Canada, I would normally call the local number and sort this out effortlessly. But, I am currently traveling outside the country, and when I called, their wait time was 1 hour! Sorry, that will not work at the price of calling from here. Moreover, their callback is only to Canadian numbers. So much for supporting traveling customers. 😡Tried chat but that got me nowhere. And, they have no email, either. And, even if I used one of those two, I would still be told to make a call, being their preferred method. For the last week, I have been trying to find out why this has happened, and to have my account bought up-to-date. I am not due to return to Canada till mid-December and by then they may disconnect my service and we all know what additional expenses and headaches that entails. Of course, that will hasten my departure to another provider who does give a hoot about its customers. I wrote twice to executive assistant, Simon, who never cared to respond.😡. Then, I escalated it to the CEO, with no response. I will take care of this once and for all. If they treat customers like s**t, they will happily go elsewhere. For years, I have been misguided by not only praising Telus but also steering to them numerous newcomers to this country. Bad mistake. Optik TV and Internet Issues
We have been seeing and increase in the frequency of our optik tv and our internet connection "freezing" this started several months ago and was happening every two weeks or so. This "freezing" now happens daily, even though i have been restarting and re-initializing the Optik TV boxes at least once per week. The TV boxes are direct Ethernet connections to the Telus modem. Most internet users in the home are wireless but the freezing also occurs on the wired PC(s). We have a doubled ADSL connection as Telus has Zero plans to install Fiber to our neighborhood. Has anyone experienced this and if so, was there a remedy? To date online customer service Techs have not been able to replicate the issue and have only recommended that i periodically restart the modem and set top boxes. Given the amount of money my household is paying to Telus each month this has become a waste of money.Solved5.2KViews0likes1CommentLoss of audio while lips keep moving!
Audio skips were previously reported and fixed. They are back again. A two second count of lips moving and no sound. This occurs live and recorded, on demand, Prime & Paramount. So basically on any and all channels or subscriptions. It is like the bleeps of language of delayed broadcasts. I just subscribed to Telus stream+ , I can log in on web to telus tv+, but on android box ( nvidia sheild plus ) the app telus tv+ si not allowing me to sign in with login/password says after 5 attempst locked out for 1 hour, I have already tried clearing cache, and reste pasword but still same issue.msgirls2 days agoNeighbour24Views0likes1Comment
