Cisco set top box and ethernet and adding a switch

I have just had the new 4k PVR form tel-us installed. My other set top boxes are all the old Cisco ones . I have coaxial cable in my house but the technician who came installed converters on all of them so now there is ethernet cable going into each box.  I know something like this question has been covered by can I add a switch to provide a wired connection to a pc that is in the same room as the cisco box? ( I have a poor signal in that room)  I am thinking I would plug the Ethernet cable coming from the coaxial to ethernet converter into the switch and then plug the pc and the cisco box into the switch. Would this work

Should work. Just get a good quality gigabit switch.
