show reminder

I would like to be able to set a reminder for a show I want to watch. Example-there is a show I want to watch this evening; a pop   up reminder for the show , ( and a link) like Shaw offers, one minute before it starts, would be wonderful

Yet again this was was a feature TTV used to have before they switched to Microsoft's Mediaroom platform.

Why not record it instead? Any kind of reminder requires you to have your TV and Optik box on. A show will record whether your TV is on or off.
