Phone numbers are often spoofed by off-shore telemarketers to appear local. It may well be that this has happened to you. Your options are to wait for them to go away, or request a fresh number from Telus.

Search for 'spoofed' or 'telemarketer' in the Neighbourhood for similar discussions.
