Some thoughts...
-are you using wifi? Wifi is subject to interference, especially if you are more than 20 feet from the router
-are you exclusively using the internet? Is there a second person streaming or watching videos?

Use this link to assess speeds.

-run it after dinner
-run it before going to bed
-run it before going to work
-run it in different locations around the house

In my case, I discovered the kitchen hood fan and furnace would generate interference with the wifi signal.

I can also depend where you live. Does the connection slow down only in the evenings?

Hi there,

I did this but can you advise what is good or what is bad?

Download speed: 16525 kbps (2065.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload speed: 1122 kbps (140.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 89 ms

Many questions....

  • was this test done late at night when no one else was using the system?
  • were you connected via Ethernet?

In general

  • anything above 5Mbps is considered good from browsing.
  • You want more than 10Mbps for video and 15Mbps for HD

Then again what are you paying for.... did you pay for a 25Mbps connection?

I recommend doing a speed test in each room at different times of the day.  See if you can find a pattern.

  • expect lower speeds in rooms of weak coverage, but great speed in the same room as the router
  • expect lower speeds when others are also using the internet
  • expect lower speeds if there is interference in the house
