connecting wi-fi to my tablet

Lost my connection to tablet and after repeatedly trying to sign in am told 'Authentication error occurred.'  What is the problem?

Have you tried re-entering the password and name, on your tablet, to the wifi?

Rebooted the Telus gateway or your own standalone router?

 Ensured that the password in your Gateway matches what you entered on your tablet?

Turned your tablet wifi off and then back to on?

 Rebooted tablet?
