It will come eventually though fiber installs are slower because specialized crews are needed to install all new infrastructure and from the looks of things, Telus has them really really busy across Alberta and BC.
Oliver and Osoyoos are complete. Kelowna is nearly done. Penticton may be soon but it's impossible to tell as Telus never discusses future engineering work / area upgrades until they are ready to be announced.
Best bet is to keep an eye on their fiber website as when a new town is added to the list, it usually means it'll be done soon and give a more defined timeframe. Also, you can sign up to tell them you want fiber also. The more people locally you get to fill this in, the more attention Telus will pay to Penticton.
