I keep getting bumped out of my Telus Wi-Fi connection to a Shaw 'unlocked' connection in my condo building. How can I stop that from happening?

On which of your devices does this happen?

Usually you can go to wireless settings and choose to forget / unlink the Shaw network somehow.

When connected to the offending network, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > [select the network] > choose "Forget this network", and you should be free of the Shaw connection. If this does not work, repeat, and turn off the "Ask to Join Networks" button as well.

This should remove the Shaw network from your devices, and you should default to your own Gateway.  You may also wish to consider placing your gateway in a location to best cover the parts of the condo you frequent.
