Telus webmail down yet again

This is the 2nd time in a month that Telus email is down.....this time,it went down Tuesday afternoon and is still down Wednesday morning. It has nothing to do with password changes. Telus needs to advise it's customers on this site what is going on with timely updates so we know they are actively trying to resolve their issues and when we can expect service to be up and running again. Please and Thank-you.

this is totally unbelievable...this issue has been going on for so long and it is STILL not resolved...this is NOT acceptable but what can one do other than complain...and even if we do, what will 'they' do...nothing...u know, like they are doing now...

Well I can now login to my TELUS webmail but as soon as I try to open an email I get bounced back to the login panel   Where can I find out more information concerning this outage?

Hi Leslie, the issue should be resolved now, can you try again and let me know if you're still getting the bounce-back?

I am able to sign in and see my emails, but then I get kicked out and have to log in again and again...

I'm still having problems.

 

  • try to read a second email, I get logged off
  • try to switch folders, I get logged off
  • Click on a delete email button and I get logged off.

Trying to log in to webmail from remote computers in Ontario and cannot stay logged in using 3 different browsers (FireFox, Chrome, Edge). Stay logged on for about 30 seconds and then bunted out to login screen, it is really aggravating and troubling, my email client (MS Outlook) is likely working OK but it is on my computer back home in Alberta. Oh well, Too Bad, So Sad...

It seems as though a great many email customers are having this problem, as I have been since yesterday, and what are we met with by Telus reps?  Near complacency.  When is this cash-heavy Telus going to correct this problem?

No kidding, "why is this?"  If this monolith Telus does not fix this problem today, I cancel their shoddy service.

Email works fine if you use an email client on your device. So there is a work-around. Guessing the issue with the webmail front-end is not simple to find, else it would be fixed already.

I totally concur...my Son has Shaw  and he never experiences problems like Telus does...Telus has become a horrible provider indeed...

The issue has not been resolved, I still can't login from the telus webmail site. This is almost 24 hours now  and its affecting my business ... telus, you need to fix this!

Why don't you back out the problem version and restore the previous good version?

The issue is NOT confined to accounts whose passwords have recently changed as I have not changed ours-- in spite of constant reminders and having to try log in twice at every log in attempt since the change reminders have been introduced .(something I assumed was punishment of not changing my password).

 

The "workaround" in the message from Telus to use a mobile device or tablet does NOT work either.

In Spruce Grove, AB. Attempting to log into Telus webmail since Tuesday afternoon. Checked this neighborhood site and SAME problem as everyone else it appears. Some suggesting that this has to do with updating a password! I haven't changed password in over 6 months and that shouldn't matter.

Please fix.

Now I see a redirection to Telus message..." Looks like we can't find that page. What would you like to do?"

It was working for me an hour ago using Apple Mail on my computer and iPhone.

Still not working for me in Outlook.

 
Task 'xxxxxxx@telus.net - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.  The server responded: -ERR internal server error'

Only have tried to login to webmail using a browser, sounds like using an email client works OK but maybe that is not true either because canucks4life is having trouble with Outlook. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, it is extremely irritating travelling and not having access to our emails...
