Smart Hub Router

Do I need to use a router with a smart hub? We have the hub for internet at home... we’re a rural acreage with a few devices who use wifi

No. The Hub will allow you to connect directly to it. If you have a number of wired devices, you may need to add an Ethernet switch, though. It provides Wi-Fi signal for wireless connectivity.
