Second router

I have a Telus router/modem downstairs and want to add a router upstairs. Does the Telus router receive the internet via coax or from an rj 45?. If its through rj45 I think I have rj45 ports upstairs and could connect another router and configure it. If the net is via coax, how would I go about adding another router without having to daisy chain the routers?

You will have to daisy chain the routers, or simply add a switch. Why not share what you are trying to accomplish, and the inhabitants of the Neighbourhood can offer suitable suggestions.

What if I added another Telus router? Not another line but 2 Telus routers on the same connection? Is that possible?

Not really. You can bridge port 1 to your second router, though.
