Scolling Text in backgound of on Demand Screen

Telus has scolling text in back of the On-Demand screens. This makes the guide difficult to read. How do I get rid of  this text.

You can't it's another annoying software feature that should even be there.

My experience is it retains the channel you were last watching as the background image. By selecting one of the music channels (e.g. Stingray in the 7500 range) before choosing menu, you will have a black background.
