No Internet in my area

I live in Pineview just out side of a major city. My block is THE ONLY one in the nabor hood that is not available to telus Internet. We can't qualify for special tv offers because we don't "qualify" for Optik tv and not to mention my son can't do any of his online school work at home. I refuse to pay fr one of them stupid mobile sticks. I don't understand why only 1 block has no access to telus high speed.

Your 'one block' of addresses may be too far away from the nearest DSL cabinet (DSLAM) to receive DSL service, or your DSL cabinet is at maximum capacity. Keep inquiring and put the pressure on to get services made available to your area. I am in the same boat at  the moment.
