I have a standard modem I received from Telus and it has trouble giving me a signal 15m across my house it's fine in line of site or through one wall. Do I need another modem or a booster?

This issue that you're having could be asociated with disturbers, so make sure there are none of these near your modem:
- Microwave
- Televisions
- Wireless devices (speakers)
- Cordless phones
- Etc
You can also check channel settings through the GUI.
