Just had Optik installed, and the remote synced with my Sony KDL-52ex700 LED TV. Remote controls the power and volume. When I press the input button to try and get the HDMI input menu up, it jumps to Video 1/component 1. Then it will not move from there. Can't get back to Optik, can't get to the playststion.

It is not always possible. It varies quite drastically from TV to TV. Some work, some half work like yours, and some don't work at all.

The bad part is that Sony has a large list of 4 digit codes it may use outside of the default 2 digit one on the simple setup guide. Follow the instructions on this guide: http://static.telus.com/common/cms/files/get-help/Optik_4_Digit_Codes_for_Remote.pdf

Possible Sony codes from that guide: (No guarantee any will work with your new TV)

1400 1503 1508 1509 1507 1499

1181 1889 1163 1162 1884 1506

1504 1500 1402 2062 2061 1891

1886 1885 1823 1512 1502 1501

1434 1399 1315 1287 1164 1161

Awesome! 1509 worked, and it's all good now. I'm glad the 4th number worked, and not the 30th. Lol.

Thank you nighthawk, much appreciated on the speed of your reply, and the help.
