Will need a few more details. Which modem do you have? Can you still get online?
I have a T3200M and at one point it a red internet light before, but the connection worked fine. A reboot of the modem itself solved the issue with the light. Never did figure out why it went red.
Normally a red internet light typically signifies some part, or all of the connection is not working. A reboot of the modem is the first step to start with. If that doesn't do it, check all connections and if ok, the next step would be to contact Telus to have them check the line.
