Does the 4K pvr have usb port?

Will I be able to move my recorded programs from my Sat pvr to the new 4K pvr?

Will the external hard be recognized from my Sat PVR?

You will not be able to use an external hard drive with the new 4K pvr. Nor will you be able to watch any recorded shows on the hard drive from your satellite receiver.

So, is it because there is no usb port or the 2 pvrs are not compatible?

Satellite and Optik TV receivers are not compatible with one another and use different encryption methods for recording along with the software used to protect the content that was recorded.

It's a piracy mechanism so you can't copy from one device to another. Furthermore the USB on the 4K is not active for external devices.
