If you've rebooted both by unplugging and by holding the ON button for about 10 seconds, the device may need to be replaced.

try holding "power" and "ok" buttons on the box until it restarts. this is a factory reset. u may have to pair with the access point after box is finished initializing

A factory reset is not something that should be done before completing standard troubleshooting.
