When ordering the base plus 6 pack of OptikTV the whole process states repeatedly that the total cost is $60. As soon as you commit to the order the total cost changes to $70. Is this intentional misleading by Telus or an error in the system or ...?

It is $60 with an internet package, $70 without. Check the ‘In a bundle’ and ‘TV only’ tabs just above the pricing info.

Are you ordering / do you have Telus Internet?

Why can't anyone a telus give prices makes no sense .People want to switch providers and without a price up front whats the point of changing

The prices are clearly shown when setting up a package be it internet only, or a combination of other Telus services.

Before submitting to order it tells you the exact amount you will spend.

clearly my @$$  gives first six months and that it and max 8 theme packages stop drinking the coolade and give some true answers to the prices .Shawcable does .

Telus is hiding the true prices after the six months

If you want pricing beyond what is described on the website, you will need to contact Telus directly. The customers here in the Neighbourhood have no ability to discuss unpublished information.  However, looking at the website, the You Pick 8 is $40 per month for new TV customers, and $80 thereafter when bundled with Internet

Similarly, prices for Internet are also described on the website, and you can get a pretty close approximation of your costs even without going through the steps to place an order:

Based on the above, as a new customer, you would pay $50 + 40 for the first 6 months and $80, $76 or $73 + $80 for the following 18 months.

Telus isn’t hiding anything. The prices are clearly stated. It shows promo pricing (6 months) and rate without promo. Don’t take a two year term you fall into regular prices.
