So I've tried twice to cancel a service agreement (that I didn't sign) by calling Telus - I never receive a confirmation email that I cancelled (even though I am promised one). Do I have to submit something in writing? And where am I supposed to mail it if I am?
And WHY does Telus say they'll cancel it over the phone - and then NOT cancel it? I am baffled by this.
Thank you! That is a good idea - it did occur to me to wait for the email but I had been on the phone for about twenty minutes by then and I had phone fatigue. When I call again tonight, I will do that. I cannot recall the name of the CSR but I do have the times for both calls so that will help as well. I am frankly shocked at the sheer effort I have to put in to cancel this. Oh well, lesson learned.
