I'm thinking of switching to Telus for my Internet and TV, but am very, very attached to my AirPort Extreme and Apple TV. Can they coexist?

I think so, Air Port Extreme would act as a router. So Telus will provide you a modem, connect the airport extreme via ethernet and it will be the one broadcasting your wi-fi. Just connect the Apple TV to your network.

Absolutely, they can co-exist. I have used both the last and current generation of AirPort Extreme with TELUS Internet and they work fine together.
