I'm using their Home Phone service (and just got their 15/1 Internet package installed today), and I have two separate numbers - one for my phone and one for my all-in-one fax machine. With Smart Ring, there is a different ring pattern between the two numbers, but I haven't been able to tell them apart. I'd like to find a way to know when it's my phone so I should pick up my phone's handset, and when it's my fax machine I need to let it answer.

Hi there, the landline/fax device would need to have a distinctive ring feature. Most of them do these days. Generally for example you can switch between different ring sound types depending on whether it's the phone ringing or the fax machine coming through.
