Time Display

I would like to have the ability to display the time on my TV screen - say in a top corner in translucent text.  The Telus iptv boxes do not display the time on their front at all and it would be useful to see the time in a dark room while I'm watching TV.  The time is shown in certain screens while using the Menu or Options etc so it is available to be displayed.

Hmm.... is screen burn an issue from a static clock?

I know it's a concern with TV station bugs (logo's).

I already have the time on my phone, clocks, stove, microwave, dvd player. Tv is my time to forget about what time it is and relaxxxxx. I don't like this idea very much 😞
