I'm thankful that Telus has created a webpage that provides a map of #Telus wifi hotpsots (https://wififinder.telus.com).
But this map only works when we are online. It is hard to get online if you need to be online to see the map.
Could you please create an Android app that provides such a map?
Or, I also use the OsmAnd map app. Perhaps you could create a map file that can be used with OsmAnd.
I'll add that it would also be useful if the map was kept up to date by the sales team. I am aware of at least 5 locations in my town, none of which are displayed on the map.
@TellYouThe TELUS wifi Finder app does has offline capabilities. First you need to install the dataset for Canada.
Settings - Manage Offline Data - Download Canada
Feedback for missing hotspots can be sent though the "send us feedback" option on the About tab.
RhoLee, thanks! I've installed the app and the dataset.
NFtoBC, are they also missing from the web version?
Yes they are missing from the web view.
Just tried it out on the Blackberry Priv.... works great.
Also tried on the Passport. It installs, but I get a Google Play error message. Sad Panda.
