Hi gang,

Shaw Cable currently has FreeRangeShaw online which you can watch tv channels with your usename and password.  I would love something like this where you can pay one time to watch a single program or purchase a package of X number of programs for those of us who don't have cable and rarely watch TV.

The only times I watch a cable TV program is during a live sporting event such as a Calgary Stampeders game.  Having the ability to watch a tv program online without having to purchase full cable service would definitely cause money to fly out of my wallet into yours.

Have a look at Telus’ PikTV offering. It is an inexpensive means to watch basic live TV.

To my knowledge, Shaw’s Free Range TV parallels Telus’ Optik on the Go, requiring a subscription to their regular service.

Hi there, @DJH1

Just checking in to see if you had a chance to look at TELUS Pik TV and if you have any questions. Same goes for the Optik TV app.

Let me know 🙂
