If a person has been with Telus for a long time, they should get some kind of free perk when they renew there cell phone contract.
You do, they waive your device balance ~3-4 months before your contract is up if you renew, that's equivalent to $60-80 off your next phone. You are also more likely to get a loyalty offer when calling in than a new customer.
If you meant you should automatically get a discount off your services, why do you deserve one? Please don't say your loyalty, almost everyone signed a contract to get subsidy, that's not benevolence.
