Everytime my kids launch Netflix on Channel 422, they are shown a non-Family Friendly image. It changes sometimes, but currently it's from "Making a Murderer".
I think this image should always be Family Friendly, and then once the user selects an Adult or Child profile, you can change the promotional image
I expect Netflix decides what is displayed, not TELUS.
I contacted TELUS client care and they suggested the Neighbourhood would be a good place to make my opinion known. If it's a Netflix issue, then I shouldn't be here. Hopefully someone from TELUS sees this and can clarify.
The new season of Making a Murderer was just released by Netflix and they are basically advertising that it's now available. They likely will be for a while longer as it sounds like it's been a popular series for them in the past. You may be better off asking Netflix directly about it but it's unlikely they'll change it unless they get enough complaints.
