The choice of Babylon for a name for a health app is unbelievable. Babylon has too many connotations of violence and destruction as the chief city of an ancient empire. There is no link to health in the name Babylon. Telus marketers need a new name for the app.

The app is from a separate company called Babylon Health.

From their web site: (forum won't let me post the link for some reason, my entire post keeps disappearing if I iinlude the link)

Why are we called Babylon?
In the ancient city of Babylon, almost 2500 years ago, citizens needing medical advice often gathered in the town square to share thoughts on treatments for common illnesses. This is one of the earliest examples of democratising healthcare - and, as it was the Babylonians who enjoyed the longest life expectancy across the ancient world, it’s from our health-conscious ancestors that we take inspiration for our 21st century services.
