Cyber threats are evolving, and so are we. That’s why we’re retiring our older Norton Security services and introducing our more comprehensive product, TELUS Online Security Powered by NortonLifeLock™ , with all-in-one protection for your devices, online privacy and identity.

Why should I upgrade to TELUS Online Security

Did you know that during the COVID-19 pandemic, home internet usage has tripled due to the high volume of people working, learning, and shopping from home? Unfortunately, that has also resulted in a 33% increase in cybercrime.

Upgrading to TELUS Online Security will ensure you get Canada’s most comprehensive protection.

TELUS Online Security can help protect you from cyber threats with all-in-one online protection for multiple devices, dark web monitoring, credit monitoring, full service identity restoration, and identity theft reimbursement. Learn more about how you’ll be protected here. 1, 2, 3

What’s included?

TELUS Online Security helps safeguard your privacy online by protecting your devices against unsafe links, malicious downloads, and anti virus-ridden websites.

TELUS Online Security also continuously monitors for suspicious activity on the Dark Web, and in the event of identity theft, you’ll have help from start to finish. You’ll have access to a Restoration Specialist who will walk you through what to do should you become a victim of identity theft. You’ll also be covered for any eligible expenses with the help of Identity Theft Reimbursement Coverage, up to the limit of your plan. Learn more about how you’ll be protected here. 1, 2, 3

How do I upgrade and choose the right TELUS Online Security package for me?

It’s simple - check your email, and follow the instructions to sign up and take advantage of a special offer for TELUS Online Security.  Didn’t receive an email? No problem. You can also sign up directly from TELUS.com by selecting “Security” and then “Online Security” on the top banner. After you’ve signed up, follow the instructions to activate your account (if you don’t already have a Norton account). For detailed instructions on migrating to the new service, click here. Or, for information on all of the new TELUS Online Security plans, click here

When will you be turning down my services?

Your subscription to Norton Security Online and Norton Security VPN will expire between March 2021 and May 2021.  You should have received an email, as well as a message on your TELUS bill confirming the date your services will end. After this date, your connected devices will no longer be protected, so act now and upgrade to TELUS Online Security.

Can I purchase online security services from another provider?

TELUS offers Canada’s most comprehensive, all-in-one protection. TELUS is the only internet provider in Canada that sells TELUS Online Security Powered by NortonLifeLock™. With features like Dark Web Monitoring Powered by LifeLock™, Secure VPN, Device Security, Credit Monitoring and Reports, and Identity Theft Reimbursement Coverage for up to $1M depending on the plan, you can rest easy knowing your information is protected online. 1, 2, 3

No one can prevent all cybercrime or identity theft. Activation through NortonLifeLock is required.

1 - Dark Web Monitoring Powered by LifeLock™ in the Norton 360 Basic plan (without LifeLock) defaults to monitor your email address only. Log in to your Norton account to enter more information for monitoring purposes.

2 - The Identity Theft Reimbursement Coverage, with a limit of up to $25,000 for Basic Plus, up to $100,000 for Premium and up to $1 Million for Premium Plus, is underwritten and administered by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company, under group or blanket policies issued to LifeLock or its respective affiliates for the benefit of its Members. Please refer to the actual policies for terms, conditions, exclusions of coverage, and for the types of experts that may be covered for reimbursement of professional service fees. Experts not specified in the policies will not qualify for reimbursement. Coverage may not be available in all jurisdictions. Review the Summary of Benefits under the Insurance Coverage (Canada) here.

3 - If your plan includes credit reports, scores, and/or credit monitoring features (“Credit Features”), two requirements must be met to receive said features: (i) your identity must be successfully verified with TransUnion; and (ii) TransUnion and Equifax must be able to locate your credit file that contains sufficient credit history information. IF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FEATURES FROM THE BUREAUS. You will receive Credit Features once the verification process is successfully completed. Any credit monitoring will take several days to begin after your successful plan enrollment.

Mike-
Just Moved In

Supposedly I have it, but I don't understand what it's doing.  For example; when I am signed up and go to use Password Manager it tells me to enter my Vault password - when I do I get a blue line spinning in a circle and nothing else.  I have no idea how this package is supposed to work or even what it is supposed to look like when properly installed (or if it will install properly on a Mac, for that matter -although they say it will!)
