Hey Neighbours, we're excited to share some news! We're dedicated to continuously improving your Pik TV experience. From July 13th to 22nd, your Pik TV Media Box will be automatically updated with an experience that now includes the Amazon Prime Video app. You can now access the Prime Video app in 2 ways:

 

  1. In the ‘Apps’ lane on the Android TV home screen; to add Prime Video to your favourites, select the ‘+’ button
  2. By pressing the ‘Apps’ button on your Pik TV Media Box remote control 

 

Please note that a subscription to Amazon Prime is required to enjoy the Prime Video app.

 

After the update, your Pik TV and Google usernames and passwords will be retained. If at any time you forget or need to reset your My TELUS login, simply visit telus.com/mytelus to reset.

 

Didn’t get the update? You can download the new version manually by performing the following steps: 

 

  1. Go to the Android TV Settings (Home > Settings [top right of screen]) press OK
  2. Locate the System update (Device Preferences > About > System Update Check for Update)
  3. Press OK and the upgrade will proceed

 

To ensure that your operating system and Pik TV app stay up-to-date, ensure that you have automatic updates turned on. In the Google Play Store, go to your profile in the top right of your screen, and select Settings > Auto-update apps and select ‘Auto-update apps at any time’.
