How to Locate your MAC Address
There may only be a few reasons why you’ll require your device MAC (Media Access Control) address - usually for network configuration or device setup - but we’ll walk you through how to do it on the latest and most common devices.
To locate the MAC Address of your device, follow these steps:
Android Tablet
1. On the Home screen, tap the Menu button and select Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap About Tablet.
3. Tap Status and then scroll down to see your WiFi MAC address.
Android Phones (may vary by model)
1. On the Home screen, tap the App Drawer button (or swipe up) and select Settings.
2. Tap About Phone.
3. Tap Status.
4. Scroll down to see your WiFi MAC address.
Or
1. On the Home screen, tap the Menu button and select Settings.
2. Tap About Phone.
3. Tap Hardware information.
4. Scroll down to see your WiFi MAC address.
Or
1. On the Home screen, press the Menu button and select Settings.
2. Tap Wireless and network.
3. Select WiFi Settings. (you'll find the MAC address under the Advanced section)
