Always need a good catch-all thread for any gaming or tech news, so feel free to post anything you hear, or links to any good articles! I follow a ton of game news sites on Twitter like Kotaku, so I'll be posting in here often.
As I'm rarely buying physical games anymore, and love my Xbox Game Pass, I dig this. Wonder if the new Xbox 'Scarlett' consoles (hopefully) announced at E3 will follow suit...
Man, I've been waiting for Borderlands 3 forever...can't believe it's finally coming.
This has me excited! The style, humour, and soundtracks make the Borderlands series some of the best games around. Can't wait for the next one.
I heard that the gamers’ attention is shifting to streaming games and that it will be a new trend. But I also read that current iGaming solutions are focused on such technologies as blockchain and cryptocurrency, VR and AR, integrated platforms and similar staff, http://www.sitepronews.com/2019/02/11/the-breakthrough-technologies-of-2018-that-shook-the-igaming-i.... I think it’s natural and logical that gaming and similar industries keep up with the newest technologies. I enjoy playing different games from Fortnite to online slots and in my opinion, both of them provide the best UX.
Alright, I'll admit...a dev making an RPG, assisted by the creator of the Dark Souls series, with heavy input from George R.R. Martin has me very intrigued.
Has anyone caught wind of the Microsoft Flight Simulator that's dropping in 2020? This looks insane. They've basically recreated the entire planet with help from global satellite data, Bing, and the Azure Cloud, so you can take off from any airport and fly over any location you can think of. How weird will it be to fly over Disneyland or your childhood home...exactly where it should be?
How realistic and accurate is it while you're flying over? While you're playing, the servers are crunching at two petabytes per second to recreate the environment. That's two million gigabytes. Trees are where they should be. I mean, come on...
Just skim through this video... Seriously hoping it's playable with VR goggles.
Oh man, I'm pumped. 2K games has started up a new studio and officially announced their main project is a new BioShock game!
The BioShock series is easily in my top 3 game franchises of all time and I'm cautiously optimistic about this!
I don't mind the delay if it means we get a better quality game. Too many game studios rush games out before they're even finished and they have too many issues. I miss the old days where you could buy a complete game and not have any day one patches or updates.
